64 K Code Sports Coupe This car is a great restoration project. The body on this car has less than normal rust issues but it does have some and here is what they are, the floor pans need replacing, the lip where the trunk seal goes needs replacing, the very bottom of the radiator support is rusty. The quarters are in very good shape with just a few pin holes on the bottom behind the tires. The trunk is excellent, the battery box area is in good shape. The doors and fenders are good might need a little attention. The side trim is excellent just needs polished up no dents. the windshield as a few chips, the door glass is all there. The original motor and tranny are gone, it has a 65 or 66 289 with auto transmission in it. Not a HIPO motor, I have heard it run but cannot tell you what kind of shape its in. It has the 9 inch rear end and is coded with the 3.89 gears. The interior is complete even has the padded dash option, but needs refurbished. I do have a complete floor out of another fairlane already cut out in one piece, and the trunk lip piece also. The floor is totally rust free you can put the whole thing in or just the pieces you need. This is a no reserve auction. I do not have the 4 speed tranny. But I do have a clutch and brake pedal set that I will let go with the car.
