Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 1962 Impala wagon. I have had this car since 05 and I have loved it but now it's time to move on as I have just bought another car, my loss or gain. I have done lots of stuff to it over the years. I started by putting a disc brake conversion from CARS, Inc. on the front, all new stainless brake lines on the front, and new rubber lines on the rear. New power booster and Wilwood proportioning valve. I also rebuilt the rear brake with new hardware and drums. As well as rebuilt the whole front end with parts from CARS, Inc. Bushings, ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends. Air Ride Technologes air ride kit was used with Firestone bags, 5 gallon air tank, 3/16 air line with extea 100 feet of line. I have a line made up to fill the tank from any compressor. Pump is run off a toggle switch in the glove box. Rear end had a fluid change and was checked out by a pro. New u-joints and mid-bearing installed by the same pro shop. MOTOR - Motor is a 307 - not sure how many miles but it has driven me all over the country. Motor smokes a little and has a small leak. Holley intake with a 650 Holley carb with working eletrice choke. New alternator, new plugs/wires, new battery. Trans is a 2 speed powerglide. INTERIOR - Everything has been painted or replaced from the orginel blue over to red. Including a new bench seat, carpet, headliner, and door panels. Only thing not done is the back seat. It does have a seatbelt in the back seat for a car seat. There is a Kenwood CD player in the glove box. Bose speakers were used 2 in dash 2 in the kick panels. Stock radio is still there to give it that old school look. Vintage suicide knob and a vintage wheel with bullet center cap. Gauge pod with temp-oil psi-volts under dash mounted. Air ride gauge and switch pod under dash also. EXTERIOR - Car has been painted using all PPG products. Painted a very nice custom mixed satin black "This Car Is Not Flat Black'' The roof has a very heavy metal flake silver. Looks killer out in the sun!! The wheels and tires were bought last March and have maybe 1500 miles on them. Wheels are 14x7 Supreme's. Tires are Firestone 195-75-14's. Has spare tire. Has 61 chevy bullet taillight lenses. All trim is in good driver condtion also has a accesory grill guard and gas tank guard. Has a set of Bellflower exhaust tips with unfinished flame thrower kit. Over the years this car has made it in some local magaines was seen in the TV show Motor City Motors and has also been in the movie Semi-Pro. Also used in some local advertising. A very well known car in the greater Detroit area. Sure to be a hit at your lcoal cruise night or car show. Car is sold as is No refunds Car can be picked up or Buyer pays all shipping cost before car leaves A $200 dollar deposit is required within 48 hours of the end of auction. The remainder of the balance must be paid with either a bank transfer or cash NO PAYPAL On May-20-10 at 09:44:52 PDT, seller added the following information: Just to be clear, I am listing this car for my brother, the car is his and the clear title is in his name, I am not recieving any money for this, any money is to go to Christopher Kowal
