Do Not Bid On this Car until you read this. This is a fix it upper car. Do Not Bid on this car unless you have feedback without contacting me first I’ve used it on the highways for many years in my sales position. The engine runs good. Starts easy and runs quiet. Recently, the check engine light went on. I moved To Delaware and could not get it passed inspection because of the codes. The transmission is coded that there are two solenoids that are bad, but that means that the pan needs to be dropped and either that's $700 labor or simply let it go to someone that can fix it themselves. It shifts smooth, but when slowing down from higher speeds it downshifts and will not go into a higher gear without turning the engine off and restarting which apparently resets the computer. That menas pulling over and it's a big pain. Then it’s fine. The guy at the garage is not sure that there might not be a bigger problem with the transmission because the fluid is dark. Seems to me that if it shifts fine, the transmission is fine, but he’s the expert. There are two other things wrong. Last September, the Air Conditioning stopped working. I figured the compressor went, but my mechanic told me that the Serintine belt broke and probably the air works fine. But, I didn’t replace the belt so I don’t know. Also, the door release on the driver’s side broke. It’s the plastic handle and it simply broke, so to get out of the car, the driver’s window needs to be lowered and released from the outside. The body is in pretty good shape, the starter, brakes, alternator, engine… all that stuff works good. The tires are getting a little old, but they didn’t fail the Delaware inspection, the check engine light did. Muffler is quiet and if you rode in it, it would seem like a decent older car with high mileage. Please don’t bid on the car unless you expect to work on it or dismantle it for parts. Radio works well and it has a CD. One cigarette hole in the passenger seat. Glass good, window motors good and keyless entry.
