This 300D starts up and runs well, the brakes stop you with no squeaks or grinding, and the transmission shifts smoothly. Windows and sunroof work. It gets decent fuel economy (approx 28-30 on the highway). The air conditioning was removed, and the climate servo has gone (typical for early W123s). Tires only have about 5000 miles of wear on them. The engine has the usual small oil leaks, but it isn't a problem so long as you check the oil level periodically. There are a few dents and scratches on the hood (passenger side), some surface rust spots. Dash has the typical cracks. Interior is nice. The car has an aftermarket stereo. The vehicle is a good runner for a car that is almost 30 years old. It has never seen a New York winter, originally from California, bought in Illinois and garaged since then. I would like to keep it but am moving to Texas and need to find another W123 with A/C. This is being sold “As Is” with no warranty, I've described everything I have knowledge of.
