Here is a 1979 Super Beetle Convertable that was restored a few years back. The car is from Arizona so it is really solid! The frame rails and rockers are in perfect shape. The chrome is in excellent shape and the car is super straight. The car has had one repaint and is original paint under the hood. The car runs and drives great. The top goes up and down as it should with very little effort. I built the car for my dad to drive which he did without any problems. He drove it around Lake Havasu City to the park and to the lake for the daily hike. The car was kept inside under a cover. The car had a bra on the front so it doesn't have any stone chips. The right rear fender has some light damage from the tire tread coming off. I can have it fixed or sell as is since it will cost $200 to have done. The motor was rebuilt when I purchased the car so it has aprox. 20K miles on it now. Listed is the new parts that were put on the car during the restoration... -Paint -Convertable Top -Headliner -Complete Interior -All New Rubber -Brakes -Dipped Fuel Tank -New Lines -Fuel Pump -Computer -Exhaust -Clutch -Tires -Am/FM Radio -Battery -Etc.... -Anything that needed attention was either refubished or replaced to make the car a daily driver.
