We are describing this car to the best of our ability, if you have any questions we incourage you to email so that we can answer them. 1966 CORVETTE STINGRAY CONVERTIBLE 427 4-SPEED The body tags show that the car left the factory painted Laguna Blue met. Prior to the current owner purchasing the car it was painted white, as you can see in the photos. The white was a professional paint job including jambs ect. The interior is the original dark blue, it has leather seats, blue dash and blue door panels. The radio installed is a direct replacement for a 1966 corvette, no modifications made and the original Corvette radio is also included ( unknown working condition) It has the original clock but it has stopped working. The steering wheel is a factory teak option, otherwise all interior is stock. The exterior paint is in good condition but has some wear.This car is rust free. The Rally wheels are not stock but are the correct vintage.The soft-top needs to be recovered but all of the mechanism is in good working condition. Due to lack of use the headlights now stay in the upright position. This car came from the factory with a 427 Big Block. The casting numbers on the head show it to be correct for a 1966. This is a factory 4 speed car. It comes with the original chrome distributor cover, but it is not installed at this time.Please see bottom paragraph for head and engine casting numbers. This car runs and drives good. The odometer shows 77,300 miles, however it stopped working before the current owner purchased it over 27 years ago. He has put approxamently 15,000 additional miles since his ownership.
