Up for auction 1956 Ford T700 Big Job truck This truck has been parked at a New Mexico farm for the past few decades, causing the paint to be faded and blasted off by the desert sun, wind and sand. The dry weather has preserved the metal realy well: hardly any rust at all. The wood on the other hand is in bad shape (but could be used as a template for restoration) The bed has a metal floor, which appears to be in good shape. It is a dump bed. The exterior of the cab has minor dents on each front side and the roof is caved in (probably because a hefty farmer climbed on top of it!) The front edge of the hood has a few little rust holes on each side, this all shows in the pictures, so please, take a good look at the pictures, and ask questions before bidding!! The truck still has a lot of neat original things, like lights, dashboard and emblems on it. The interior of the cab didn't stand the test of time (and rodents) very well, see pictures. The windshield is busted, the side windows have some delamination caused by the sun, the rear window is in good shape. This truck has not been in operation since the late 80's, at which time the motor was running but used some oil and the cylinders, to raise the bed, leaked oil (it raised up uneven). I have been the owner since 1986. I don't know much about the technical specs or the engine, but I will go and look if you tell me what you need to know and where to find it.
