This is a relisting of my Corvair. It sold a couple weeks back for $8,352.00, but the high bidder never followed through with any of the requirements of the purchaser. So it is back on the market. I am 72 years old and have just closed my business of 22 years. I had a collection of eleven antique, classic and hot rods of which I have sold three so far. The balance are: 1923 T-bucket, 1928 Ford Roadster, 1949 Chevy Fleetline, 1950 Merc. coupe, 1955 Thunderbird, 1959 Metropolitan Convt., 1963 Ford Ranchero, and my 1965 Corvair Convt,. I will be listing all but my 49 Chevy. My Corvair is the 140 model which is the quad carbed six cylinder . It has 4 on the floor. EVERYTHING works as it should!!! The engine runs beautifully, smooth and NO oil consumption. The trans. and diff. are in perfect running condition. It does have an oil leak between the diff. and the trans.. The car has ZERO rust or oxidation anywhere. I had a new convertible top put on it in 2009. All windows are good and work properly. The ENTIRE braking system is in excellent condition. The interior is in very good condition for being ORIGIONAL. the driver bucket does have a small seam pull. The top is manual and pulls up and locks quite easilly. The body is STRAIGHT!!!!! the only slight dents are at the front lower cowl (below the front bumper) you have to really look to see them. Tires, clutch, radio, wipers - you name it, works. I have numerous extrs parts including the origional 13" hub caps. It has 14" now. SO--If you are looking for a super nice Corvair Monza 140 Convertible, you just found it.
