Vehicle Detail

For sale is my 79 Dodge shortbed 2wd shop truck. Lets clear this up now, this is no trophy queen, but it is a solid, mechanically sound and safe truck. It is lowered with drop spindles, dropped control arms, and 1/2 coil cut springs. When this was done last summer the front end was redone at the same time. Lower ball joints, pads, rotors, calipers, hoses, wheel bearings, shocks are all new. Tires are all very low mileage, and wearing evenly. Alignment is within specs, and the truck drives straight down the road. Rear end is an 8.25 from an A body, and flipped to the top of the springs. Wheel tubs were cut but never sectioned back in. The interior is all garbage. Some old man owned it and painted the dash, and put some seats in it from who knows what. Paint is awful. Been touched up with spray bombs and such. But the Body and Bed are solid. Only thing rusted is the core support, which is common to these trucks. The 318 runs strong, once it warms up. And the 727 shifts perfect. Radir wheels and tires cost about as much as the BIN What needs done...... The wheel tubs need finished. I have the inner tubs, so you just need to fabricate the centers. The front springs need replaced. I think the frontend is too low. The subframe is just inches off the ground and it doesn't have a safe scrub line. This could be corrected with a set of junk yard spring. Can, and does get driven as is. The rear frame could use a C-notch. It hits on a hard bump. Exhaust hangs low, and is just the old single exhaust that came on it. This is a fun, cheap project, that will turn heads. Ask questions and don't be afraid to call, as my auctions rarely go the full term. 717-253-2621 thanks Oh yea, no delivery, no warrenty, no shipping, no buyers agents blah blah blah Update 5/9......I've added some pics of the bed and some of the rockers. The inner tub is just sitting there for the picture, but you get the idea.
