hello and thanks for looking! first things first.i really hate to part with this car.its been a great and fun car to drive! kind of a rare car.how rare? only 14,257 in existence from 1992 to 1997 a little history of this car: i am the 3rd owner of this svx.i have had it almost 2 years and have loved every day of it! it has the normal wear and tear of a 1992 but i think it is in very good condition considering its age.a couple of door dings a few scratches here and there but nothing serious.i took pics of the scratches which are on the bumpers.have a look. the 2nd owner of the car(the person i bought it from)had no major problems with it.i don't know exactly how long he had it but i know he replaced the alternator,installed a K&N air filter and took GREAT care of the car.it was garaged kept while he had it.he also told me that the 1st owner of the car had the transmission replaced in 1995, three years after the purchase and was a transmission from 1995 the year they made the new and improved transmissions for these cars and ever since has not given the 2nd owner or myself any problems. things i have done to the car: change the oil , changed an AC pulley,changed the battery.had fun driving it! and of course its a used car so it will need some things looked at. things you may want to fix: the windshield has a crack that's spreading.(look at the pics of it) the AC belt squeals but after 10-15 minutes of driving it stops. one of the wheel bearings is a little noisy the brake rotors may need to be turned.(a little shimmy in the steering wheel at high speeds when the brake is applied). the check engine light is on.i was told by a mechanic to do a test to determine if its the o2 sensor and it is. the plastic shroud under the drivers front wheel is hanging a little and rubs against the tire(under normal driving you wont hear it but when you park it or turn the steering wheel really sharp is when you hear it). the clear coat is coming up off of the hood and other small areas of the car. there is small oil leak from the valve cover gasket. the factory CD player is a little skippy sometimes. all in all those are minor things that are not affecting the performance of this car.i use it every day.its never failed me. i just turn the key and go! for reference, here is a link to subaru wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subaru_Alcyone_SVX and another for more history: http://www.cars101.com/subaru_svx.html this is a 1992 subaru SVX- LSL touring edition,all wheel drive,leather interior,power windows,power locks.this car is fully loaded! automatic 149,xxx miles , cold AC ,car runs and drives great! 3.3 liter 6 cylinder 24 valve DOHC Boxer engine. 230 horsepower Fuel economy: 17city , 25 highway AM/FM CD-cassette Power windows and door locks Climate control with automatic air conditioning and outside temp. gauge Dual illuminated visor mirrors, Dual map lights plus glove box, trunk and door lights Center console with armrest Cruise control Tilt and telescoping steering wheel with memory i hope i have been thorough enough with your concerns but if you have any questions please do not hesitate to call me or send an email and if you would like more pics just contact me and will send them to you. cell: 818-984-5580 you can also text me at my cell home : 713-863-9631 ask for bill good luck and happy bidding!!
