Here is, in my opinion, the best looking model Ranchero Ford ever produced! It has a very tough, sinister look to it. It is also a vehicle that you do not see very often, even at car shows! No matter where I take this car, whether just to gas up or down to the grocery store, people give the thumbs up to it or start a conversation about it. I hate to part with it, but I just don't need a fourth car. This Ranchero is powered by a 351 Cleveland that just sounds awesome! It is fed by a four-barrel Edelbrock carburator and make tons of power! These Cleveland motors are known for being very powerful while at the same time extremely reliable. That being said, this motor was rebuilt less then 2,000 miles ago so it will be great for years to come! It looks great to! The usual column shifted 3-speed automatic was converted over to a B&M floor shifter that looks right at home in this truck. An electric fan with temperature control replaced the old belt driven fan to keep the motor cool even in the California deserts summer heat. The brakes feel nice and firm. The power steering was disconnected. This truck runs very good! The exterior of the Ranchero is in good shape, and there is no rust to be found! Not even in the bed where you see a lot of Rancheros get it. The paint is a very dark burgandy. If you were planning on completely restoring this car, a new paint job is a must. The paint is all there, but it is a very inexpensive job. The body is good, having only a fraction of the imperfections you would expect on a vehicle its age. Awesome looking Centerline wheels with nearly new tires and a lowered stance compliment the overall look of this Ford! The interior is in decent shape, needing only a few things. The carpet is not tore up, but is old. The frontal rubber piece of the dash has cracks in it, but is easily replaced. All original gauges work as they should, and a Sunpro tachometer, temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge, and voltmeter were added for extra information on the car. The bench seat is very comfortable, and the Pilot wood wheel looks great in the truck. All dash lights work well, along with the horn and courtesy lights. The fan only blows on medium and high. A JVC cd player provides the soundtrack to your boulevard cruising. So don't let your chance to get an awesome muscle truck at a low price pass you by! Be confident that this car is as described. But please remember, even though the Ford is in good shape both mechanically and cosmetically, it is 39 years old and is not a show car. It is a great driver. The new owner will be happy with his or her new car, and all bidders will be happy with the low reserve auction! The auction may end early, or the odometer reading may change slightly due to it being listed locally and taken on test drives. I will answer all questions as quickly as possible.
