Vehicle Detail
Welcome! Like the color 'green' or a custom convertible ride that stands out? Up for auction here is a unique survivor from the millenium year...a gorgeous 2000 Ford Mustang Convertible custom with just under 50000 original miles ( It is currently being driven on the weekends 47,9200 right now but climbing slowly). Green Machine / Pegasus Motorsports was featured at the 2009 Mustang week in July in Myrtle Beach,SC (missing a few 'horse' decals since then...but you will recognize it) Purchased from original owner on eBay over 2 years ago when car only had just over 40k miles. He took decent care of the car, albeit in a carport all the time. I am selling due to high interest rate credit card bills and too many toys. Keep in mind..over $10000 spent on both the car and the customizing work with many hours involved...willing to sacrifice at a decent price to save my credit score. Listed with Very Reasonable price (NADA - Kelley Blue Book value - private retail). Willing to accept a decent realistic offer...but not giving it away. Please see all pictures! Car is equiped with: 4 speed Automatic Transmission Cold Air Conditioning original AM/FM Cassette and CD Cruise Control Tilt Steering Wheel W/ leather cover Power windows and door locks / driver's seat Power mirrors Electric Green Metallic paint w/ Grey - Green interior with Velour and embriodery Black convertible top original black tonneau cover Custom green mustang floor mats Rear Window Defogger Full Gauge dashboard Green velour Dash cover Driver's and passenger side air bag Original owners manual 1 original Key and key fob, along with spare ignition key, and spare door/trunk key Newer 17 x 9 Bullitt Wheels powder coated kelly green (installed 7/09) newer Avon Tech M500 Tires (less than 5K on them) front brakes 70% - rears are 20% 3.8 V6 with Multiport Fuel Injection with oil / filter change at 46K drive belt installed 5/08 MAC cold air intake All mechanical work done by myself, along with most of the custom stuff Electric green / Grabber Lime painted interior/ exterior trim items (side view mirrors-console trim, door trim, radio trim, windshield valence panel, grille delete) Green custom gauge and A/C control facing Green LED lighting (interior lights, license plate, trunk) Green tinted headlight bulbs and chrome/green turnsignal bulbs Green back-up lamp bulbs Sequential Turn signals Lime green painted brake calipers (all 4) custom lime decals (hood, front plate, sides, lettering on bumper) GT side scoops with Grabber lime painted inserts (have original V6 scoops) Grabber lime painted windshield wipers and antenna / hood scoop insert Custom lime pony on hood pad MACH 1 grille delete with grabber lime pony (and 1 spare pony) transmission fluid flushed at 42K along with radiator-cooling system Interstate Battery 5/2008 runs on Castrol 5w30 **Not Perfect: Paint far from excellent, stored outside its whole life and not waxed well until I got it...some waterspotting...but very good and buffs up beautifully for boulevard cruises and car shows. The accident damage - original owners wife banged it into a building in a parking lot at some point in its life. they rebuilt /repainted right rear fender and repainted rear bumper. No frame damage...had it on the machine at a friends body shop. I had front bumper repainted...too many bug impacts had left it pocked badly. Usual chips and scratches for being a 10 year old car. Paint shines up well, imperfections, small they are, only seen when really close up. Been asked several times if the electric green is custom color. Was only made from 1999-2001 and less than 5000 made in this color. Original struts and shocks Upgrade from 15" stock wheels /tires makes it a bit jumpy (tires run from 42-44 psi and you feel everything). With our roads here in MB, car seems to walk a bit in the tracks worn in the asphalt but great road feel and grip. CD player does not like CD-r or cd-rw, will only play originals / Will include MP3 cassette adaptor with car top is a bit offline when you raise / lower it..but straightens out before you latch...original owner always kept it in the carport with the top down for some reason. Headliner is faded to off gray from black from that but top seals are decent. Sunvisors are also faded. Runs very well and would not hesitate to drive long distances with as I drove it to Columbia in 2008 , Charleston just over 3months ago. Comes with bonus items: a spare set of side scoop "cobra" inserts in black Spare paint from the customizing (elec. and grabber $24 a can each when I purchased) original air intake system from the factory Great first car for your teenager (keep in mind 200 horsepower is still fast) or everyday driver if you have a toy you'd rather park for the evenings or weekends...or even advertising if your business is all about being "Green"..? Seats 4 comfortably...5 in a pinch. Trunk room good but not great. You could even hot rod it or customize further...but thats up to the winning bidder. It definitely stands out in a crowd or on the Blvd. Averages 18 City - 28 Hwy on gas and run on regular (just got 21average mpg around town from last fill-up). Buyers responsibility to get the car home. Willing to drive to closest Dependable Auto Shippers terminal in Charleston, SC to save winner some money (my driveway to your driveway is more expensive...unless you go terminal to terminal). Would have to discuss driving anywhere more than 150 miles from my home (money would have to change hands first). DAS or Dependable (spelled out) best company to ship car cross country....have used several times myself when I worked in the used car industry and the few I bought on ebay personally..like this one If not shipped, winning bidder needs to pay for and pick up within 2 weeks of auction close or car will be relisted and bidder reported to ebay. *International Bidders*...wanting me to ship car overseas (nice try for that scam)...would be required to pay by Bank of America cashiers check & need to have in my hands and verified BEFORE I even think of delivering to port in Charleston (and believe me, as a safety concious firefighter..i'll have a Charleston police officer accompany me for that drop off). Please do NOT bid if not serious about owning this great car. I am NOT a finance company...there are links on ebay to folks to can help you get a loan...but I cant afford the time to take payments...sorry. Please feel free to request more pics or info....but will only talk to via email.. always on a computer working etc...so usually can answer quickly. Please see my Feedback for both US and International transactions and bid with confidence...I'm here to help you get a great custom car....not goof anybody over. Also..if you need 2 weeks to get all the money together...I can be open to discuss that. Buyer will get a free full tank of gas I will provide (unless car must be shipped...DAS doesnt prefer more than 1/4 tank) While you're here...please have a look at my other auctions if the car doesn't strike your fancy.
