1974 Honda XL100

Clean, nice condition 1974 Honda XL100, first year after the SL100. Overall, very clean with practically no rust anywhere, however, not perfect. I'll start with the bad. Front fender is a little bent and scratched, headlight bucket has a small crack, clutch lever perch is not original, I don't think the kick stater pedal is original, exhaust has a repair weld (see photo), speedometer doesn't look so hot, and the tank has been coated and there is a dent on the left side with a homemade petcock. Finally, previous owner replaced the ignition switch with a toggle switch. The good, this bike is a couple of pieces away from being very very nice. Original tires, I haven't found any pitting on the rims or any chrome for that matter, handlebars, switches, headlight ears and forks all very nice. Engine is very clean, doesn't smoke and runs great. (just a flat spot in carburetor if you crack the throttle fast) Exhaust is solid, Side covers are not broken or cracked, Seat is perfect, All lighting works, Rear fender is nice, Tail light and bracket are perfect. Chain guard and frame are very clean. The bike has an aftermarket larger sprocket on the rear but I have the original in nice shape. This is a great play bike capable of pulling an adult and a nice classic Honda. No Title, will provide you with a Bill-of-Sale.
