1956 Chevy Nomad Project Body was removed dipped, stripped, straightened and painted in 1983 in laquer. Original california seamless frame was stripped and painted at the same time. The body and suspension were reunited and that is how it has sat in a heated garage for 25 years. This is an incredibly nice piece. I purchased it with the intention of finishing but circumstances change and now I am offering for sale. All of the body pieces for this car are painted. There are some chips on a couple spots that will need touched up, 27 years of storage and one move, something was bound to happen. These are very minor. The doors and tailgate for this Nomad are the nicest I have ever seen. They are so nice that you could call them painted NOS! The holes for the weather stripping are perfect. There is a lot of the trim that has been polished and a lot that still needs it. The bumpers have been replated and there are some NOS trim pieces as well. The interior needs new skin. Very good cores. Also included, new 605 steering box, ididit column shift column, and new wiring harness. All of the small pieces for this car are in stackable clear plastic totes. All of the pieces that have been polished or rechromed are wrapped for protection. There is no engine or transmission with this car. I do have used glass for it minus the windshield. I was going to purchase new set of glass from Auto CIty Classic $990.00. I also want to point out that the pictures make this look like it is a Green side of the spectrum Turqoiuse but it is actually more on the Blue side. Please ask questions before bidding I am selling to purchase a house, not because I do not want to finish this car. I will partially assemble for transport or even deliver if negotiated before auction end. All transportation is responsibility of buyer.
