Vehicle Detail
1966 Shelby Cobra SC Replica You are looking at a 1966 Shelby Cobra SC replica. This car is an extremely accurate reproduction of the original sc. This vehicle is brand new with 3 miles. The engine is a 1966 427 side oiler, the transmission a Ford top loader 4-speed, and the chassis is a blueprint reproduction of the original SC car. This car has been my personal project for many years. I had not planned on selling it but circumstances dictate otherwise. Every component of the car is brand new or meticulously remanufactured where the use of vintage parts was necessary to maintain originality (for example the engine block and transmission). It has been constructed as closely as possible to the real thing. I tried very hard to duplicate the sc cobras that were on race tracks all over the country in the late 60’s. From the fuel pressure gauge instead of the fuel level which was not present on the sc cars (it does have a low fuel light tucked away on the dash for prudence) to the ac foot pedals and Girling brake reservoirs. All cobra specific parts were purchased from Cobra Restorers in Ga. and Finish Line in Fl. This vehicle is titled as a 1966. It is new, but to get a 1966 title on a new vehicle you have to designate it as rebuilt, thus the salvage listing.
