1993 Rod Millen Motorsport Mazda RX7. This car was built for the cover of the August 1993 issue of Road and Track Magazine. I have attached the magazine article. Under the custom aluminum strut-tower brace lurks a 350bhp that's controlled and monitored by the EVC and boost meter on the center dash, under the radio. Here are the specs... PAID: $48,800 in 1993 after they tested it, ORIGINAL OWNER. MILLEN MODIFICATIONS include: suspension, brakes and tire upgrades: 17-in BBS wheels, adjustable shock absorbers and springs, upgrade anti-roll bars, strut tower base, carbon metallic brake pads ($4,871). Visual" custom paint, rear spoler, tailight treatment ($3,919). Engine and transmission upgrades: electric fuel management system, EVC, 4.30 ring and pinion, Centerforce dual friction clutch ($3,274). Instrumentation: injection pulse monitor, EGT meter, boost meter gauge, gauge mount ($705). ENGINE: twin-turbo 2-rotor Wankel. Dispalcement: 80 cu in / 1308 cc.HORESPOWER: est 350 bhp @ 7500 rpmTORQUE: est 300 lb ft @ 6500 rpm This car has been completely gone through and is running SOLID. It runs like a raped ape! Minor fix list: needs left front headlight cap, shift boot, the drivers side seat has a minor hole in it, and the clear coat on the rear hatch is peeling. Other than that it is a great car!
