Engine: 289 Transmission: Automatic I bought this right before I deployed in 2008 as a way to have some last minute fun, but the previous owner really focused on the cosmetic look of the car, which he did a GREAT job on, however, he lacked in the mechanical department. The car was stored in a garage in Michigan during my deployment. I have only put 100 miles or so on the car. My dad did a lot of work on the car, he worked for and retired from GM, races in the FAST series, and currently is rebuilding one of his own 1970 cars. While I was deployed my dad replaced the distributor, repacked the bearings, re did the brakes (previous owner had the wrong ones in, no damage to the drums or anything, just a pain to figure what was wrong), replaced the rear main seal, new oil pan.. He tried his best to get the carburetor better tuned but the secondaries still drip so the car runs a little rich. . The previous owner redid the entire interior, and it looks nice. He also put in a new shifter, a stereo system, and had it repainted now about 3 years ago to the silver color it is now (it was originally Acapulco blue). The tires are almost brand new and the cragers are almost brand new as well. I have an envelope of receipts you can go through. I have the original 1967 keys that will also come with the car The car is a looker, it starts up without issues, and it gets a lot of attention. You just have to come look at it to appreciate it. Two things that must be mentioned: The linkages in the shifter are loose and will need to be tightened and the rear driver side panel has bondo and it has cracked.
