This Vanagon had a major mechanical rebuild 17K miles ago.It got a rebuilt 1900cc water cooled engine,clutch,axles and CV joints,water pump,throttle cable,clutch master cyl,sky light,belts,muffler,CD player,and numerous seals and other small parts.The previous owner indicated that it had a recent transmission rebuild.It was an Arizona car and is now in Texas.It has no rust issues.It has it's original pale yellow paint with minor nicks and scratches here and there.It has two small very shallow dents.One on the rocker panel just in front of the right rear wheel and one on the lower front corner of the sliding door.These won't show up in photos.It shows no accident damage.The glass is all good with tinted film..The tires show wear but still have a few thousand miles left on them.It is a full camper with stove, refrigerator,and a sink with water storage.It has a bike rack on the front which is easily removed.It has dual batteries,one for road use and one for camping.It has factory air which has been converted to R134.It works but I can't say it's ice cold.It has sleeping for two in the pop up area and two more on the lower section.It has swivel front seats and two tables and a stainless counter top work area.The canvas around the pop top is in good condition.It has original upholstery in good condition and new carpet throughout.It has a screen which clips around the rear hatch opening.It has a four speed transmission.It does not have power steering.It has added oil pressure and water temp gauges.It comes with original VW and Westfalia owners manuals and a factory repair manual.The factory clock does not work.It comes with a used trailer hitch which I never installed.It just had a state inspection and new tags.I've had this three years and have driven thru New Mexico twice,Arizona,Colorado,Utah,and two trips to Tennessee and many short trips all trouble free.It starts easily and runs smoothly.I now have five cars and am downsizing, since this one was used only for camping,it is up for bid.You can drive it home where ever you may live.It cruises fine at 70mph and gets around 20mpg.This is from a non-smoking household.This is a 26 year old vehicle and comes with no guarantees.It comes with a clear Texas title.It is located in Buda,Texas just south of Austin.If you live near by and would like to see it before you bid then e-mail and we can make arrangements.A $125 paypal deposit is due within 24 hours of auctions end and is not refundable.Balance is due at pickup in cash or by bank check,cash prefered.If payed by check the title will not be turned over until available funds are verified.It must be picked up within two weeks.Please e-mail any questions,don't wait till hours before austions end becouse you may not get your answer in time.
