1978 Honda CB

This is a old man's type of bike. it's a 2 speed automatic transmission. the reserve price is 400.00 i have owned the bike now almost 14 years. I'm 70 and need to sell it . it's served me well and a friend gave it to me when her husband passed away.On the tank lock cover it says "In Memory of Glenn" I road it in his honor he was my best friend.. the seat ripped and i recovered it with a seat pad and the cover from a newer style CB400 because it was more comfortable. the tank has a small dent on the top right side of the tank and chipped spot close to that. it is presently on the road till may 1st and rideable . it drips oil when parked from a breather tube but runs and rides fine. the windshield is not included in the sale the batterywas new last fall. everything works but the neutral light for the gear selector. I had another bike the same that I kept a running motor from . there are a extra set of good balanced carb's, a rear shock and many other extra parts that i won't need so it will all go with the bike. it passed the state inspection every year no problems. i think it still looks ok chrome shines nice and the exhaust was bad so I put on a set of up swept megs that were sporty looking I felt rather than look for original expensive mufflers. I baffled the meg's some so as to not be to offensive and get a ticket but they are sporty sounding. I used to smoke and put on a cigarette lighter on a handle bar mount bolt. I used it later to plug in my cell phone charger or what ever else. THIS IS A PICK UP ITEM ONLY AND WILL NOT BE SHIPPED.
