Up for auction is our 1998 Volvo V70 wagon This car will go to the highest bidder. There is No Reserve and Starting Bid is 99¢. Kelly Blue Book (KBB) values for this year, make, model, and mileage are as follows: Excellent Condition - $3,325 Good Condition - $2,950 Fair Condition $2,525 Condition: Exterior: The paint is a light silver color. The outside of this car is in very good shape. It does have a few dents and scratches, but nothing overly noticeable. Most of the scratches are on the back bumper. There are a few more than in the picture on the back bumper. In general the car looks good. Interior: The interior is in good shape, but there are a couple places where the leather is coming apart. It does have power seats. The leather is of a dark blue almost navy blue color. There is a sunroof, which tilts and opens completely. Please refer to pictures. Mechanical: The engine is good and strong. It does have 5 cylinders. The last time that we did smog the car it past just fine. However, I do recommend that the new owner have a tune-up performed to get the most out of the engine. There is a noise that seems to be coming from the exhaust pipe which runs under the car. It could be something as simple as replacing some loose or missing bolts to changing the exhaust pipe. I don't know as I am not a mechanic. Also, there are some lights that come on and off on the instrument cluster. The transmission does engage roughly. This could be worn out mounts or that the fluid needs to be replaced. Otherwise, the transmission seems strong and shift properly. The two that I have seen are the Traction Control light and the ABS light. I am pretty sure that there isn't anything wrong with these systems as this is a common issue with these models, but again I don't know for sure. I would be more than glad to take the car down to a shop so that you can have the vehicle inspected. Also, there is an issue with three of the door locks. Once open they will close, but they do not re-open. I understand that this is know of this make and model. The drivers door however works fine. The brakes make a sound occasionally when driving. We had our mechanic take a look at them, but he said he couldn't find anything wrong with them. Overall, a great family car and perfect for anyone who needs extra storage space. It has low miles so there is plenty of life left in this car. It is a Volvo so it has awesome safety standards. This car will go to the highest bidder.
