Up for auction is my 1940 Ford Tudor Sedan that I have owned since 1973. It is in very good original condition and has been worked on and maintained over the years. The color is mandarin maroon and is in pretty good shape. It has the typical scratches and nicks.. The engine is correct and was professionally rebuilt in 1976 of which I have the build ticket...New EVERYTHING...since that time I would imagine there is no more than 2000 miles on the engine. The car drives and stops fine...The brakes were redone about ten years ago and have virtually no mileage on them. I installed a proper cloth wire loom some years ago and everything works as it should...There are many extra parts, as pictured, that go with this car. The body has no rust, never had any.... except... The only rust is the very top of the tunnel by the removable transmission cover (note in photo)....very easy fix...The rest of the car is solid as a rock. While in my possession the car has always been garaged kept...years ago I removed the gas tank and cut the top out of it so I could remove the "sludge" in the bottom...then welded the top back on, so the tank is original..I have the radio as pictured and also the bottom radiator tray as pictured also. I recently removed the distributor and installed new points and condensers and had it timed...It cranks right up...The car has duel exhaust with glass packs and sounds like a flathead should---GREAT!! As you can tell from the pictures it will need a new interior. The original interior is still in the car...This car is not a trailer queen but a very nice driver and looks good too...It had a new clutch and pressure plate installed some years ago with virtually no use on it...new fuel pump and so many things I can't remember...This is a nice car and needs to be enjoyed by somebody else...If you have further questions please email or call my cell--561-644-2026 This car is sold "as is, where is" and winning bidder must post a $1000 deposit within 48 hours after auction ends and must be paid in full 7 days after auction ends.
