I found this little pick up in the desert outside of San Diego California. The engine is strong and with some cleaning and lubing the tranny shifts great. The truck has been serviced from front to rear, and has new rotors and brakes up front. I drove this little beauty on the freeways in So Cal, no problem keeping up. I took it over the Grapevine mid-day fully loaded and with a trailer, no overheating. This truck is bullet proof. The Slant Six pulls hard, and runs quiet. The 3 speed shifts smooth, and is geared right. I didn't think I would like it, but it works. The body is clean and straight with only one dent. This truck has excellent potential to be a real head turner. Given its age the odometer has most likely turned. The Good- This truck is super stock, super straight, and un-molested. It has dual fuel tanks that switch back and forth flawlessly. Good chrome front and rear bumpers. A heavy duty trailer hitch with 1 7/8 and 2 inch balls. All gauges and lights work. The dash has no cracks, and has not been cut up. Power steering that really works. This truck is simple to work on, and parts are cheap. No rust in the doors, fenders inner fenders or cab edges, has owners manual, stock jack The Bad- There is rust pin holes starting on the floor of the cab. I found it when I removed the stock rubber floor mat to put in the carpet. Arm rest on drivers side ugly, windshield washer reservoir is broken. This truck deserves to be fixed up and used for crusin. I picked it up to use for odd jobs, but as I fixed it up and drove it around I realized it is too nice to just beat around.
