Vehicle Detail
This is a great project car. It is not a 442, although it has some 442 badges on it. It was born a holiday coop and has the original black bench seat interior (except for headliner and carpet) and also has the original provincial white paint except for the right fender. The quaters are solid with a couple small dents. The doors and fenders are solid. The frame is also solid with some surface rust in the rear, the front in the engine compartment was cleaned and painted. I also have the rear window (not in picture) along with a lot of various trim parts such as wiperarms, heater core, visors, etc. All the stainless steal trim is in great shape. It was a vinyl top car so there is some rust through in the roof, sail panels, and front floor boards. All parts are readily available on ebay for replacement and repair. The fiber "rag joint" also needs replaced, but I have a new one. The front windsheild and fuel tank are gone (both were bad). As I said, this would make a solid start for someone willing to spend the time to put it all back together. I will not deliver, as I have no way of doing so, local pickup only. If you need it shipped, it will be up to you to arrange and pay for. I will except Paypall, cash, or certified bank check. The winning bidder must pay for within five days or I reserve the right to relist. Happy bidding! On Apr-30-10 at 19:27:16 PDT, seller added the following information: all right, this a factory air car with a 12 bolt rear. the dash is probably worth the reserve price. a few things I have not shown in pics: air box, wiper motor, windshield trim and rear window trim, extra headlight bezel, hood hinges w/ springs, and original "oldsmobile" grill. car suspension is set up for big block. a true hot rod in the making
