You are bidding on a 1954 MGTF that is very complete and very original, including the top bows and side curtains. This was a running, driveable car until it was parked outside the previous owner's home about 10 years ago. The weather has taken a toll on it. Although the sheet metal, such as the body and fenders, can be repaired with patches and many hours of labor, the frame will need to be replaced, in my opinion. The car sags in the middle because of the extensive frame rust from sitting outdoors for so long. I believe the engine and transmission are the original ones that came with the car from the factory. This car is from Louisiana, but has NOT been in any floods or standing water, in case anyone is wondering. I have not tried to turn the engine over so I don't know if it will or not. All four tires will hold air and the wheels all turn. This is a NO RESERVE auction, so the high bidder at the end will be the new owner of the car. The car will probably need to be picked up with a flatbed trailer, and a winch or come-along will also be needed to load it onto the trailer. I doubt that any multi-car carrier will agree to load it up. I expect payment within 5 days of the end of the auction. A Paypal down payment of $500 will be required within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The car can be picked up after your check has cleared my bank. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, but I can give the name of a good, reliable shipper who uses a flatbed trailer if you wish. Buyer will be given a Bill of Sale and the open Louisiana Title I received when I bought the car.
