Vehicle Detail
Here is my 1951 Ford that took 14 months to build and i have over $15,000 in material receipts that went into her not including any labor. All rust was removed and repaired including floor, rockers, trunk floor and lower quarters and a rear roll pan was installed. Then the entire bottom side of car was primed and covered with 3m rubberized coating. Suicide doors with Rocky mountain hinges and bear claw latches. The entire inside of car was primed, painted and covered with Duramat, floor, sides and roof. A EZ wire wiring kit, S&W mechcanical gauges with a rebuilt factory speedo. Fatman steering with a 70 Volvo steering box. A 1968 mustang rearend, 1979 Ford toploader 3 speed with 4th gear overdrive trans and 11 inch clutch. The motor was completely rebuilt inculding Speedway high flow water pumps and high volumn oil pump. Rare Granatelli aluminum intake which takes the larger Rochester as primary carb and 94s as secondary. The end carbs are for show right now but a quick rebuild of the carbs and removal of block off plates and its a 3 x 2 for real but in my opinion its just as good the way it is, hey its a 100 horse motor so no matter how much fuel you throw at her she's only going to go so fast but the look is cool. Paint is semi gloss hotrod black with a cherry top, dash and garnish moldings. Interior is Dark gray leather seats , both front seats electric, with matching headliner and side panels and medium gray carpet. This car runs, rides, drives great and with 4th gear overdrive she'll cruise 75 mph at only 2000 rpm. Lake pipes are polished stainless and they do function. This is a get in and go car needing nothing. I've put 3200 hundred trouble free miles on her since finished in june 2009 and she was a top 12 pick at the 09 Ratrod Rumble. I'm sure i've missed something so just ask and i'll do my best to answer. A $500.00 deposit is required within 48 hours of sells end and the rest in cash upon pickup. The car can stay stored here inside for as long as it takes if it is paid for in full. Reason for selling, thats what i do, build one, enjoy it while i'm building another and then pass her on as i get to the end of my present build. I'm 60 years young and have built and enjoyed loads of hotrods. Engine has Fenton headers, GM small block dist conversion, Stump puller starter, 100 amp one wire alternator, electric fuel pump. It does not have working wipers, all the parts are there just needs the 12 volt motor conversion, i've always just used rain x so i didn't replace the motor. Everything on this car is either new or rebuilt. ( I'll be out of town at the auctions end and not back till monday morning , so if there is a lucky winner just email me your phone number and i'll contact you as soon as i get back. Good Luck )
