1984 Jeep Scrambler with very low original miles- 35511 currently. This jeep is equipped with the inline 258 Six cylinder with a 4 speed manual transmission. Power steering. The jeep was purchased new in the state of TX by a glass co. It was wrecked in the first year or so. It was repaired and sold again in 1985. The Front passenger fender was replaced and the drivers rear quarter was repaired. You can see from the inside it was dollied out. There is no cracking of filler on the outside of this repair (photographed). The entire jeep was repainted in the same color and not re-stripped. It was driven on a "weekend ranch" in TX when the owners moved to CA in 1995. It was put into a storage yard in Loomis, CA and sat 14 years. I bought it sitting in the same spot it had been sitting. I replaced the fuel tank with a brand new one, fuel lines, fuel pump, battery, oil etc.. It now starts right up ,idles smooth and drives beautifully. It has 48 state emissions and not CA emissions which is my reason for sale. All mechanical is in good shape and the transfer case shifts good. Brakes are firm with no pulling. I bled the system with fresh fluid. The body is very good to excellent. You would have to look hard to find anything wrong with it. The paint cleans up good. It has two stripes on the bottom that are faded. There is no rust damage anywhere, now or ever. I just added stainless on the hood and mirrors. Also has brand new fender flares. Interior is Mint. Very, very nice. I doubt the top has ever been off. No crack in the door by vent wing where they usually do. Seat, door panels etc.. look great with no damage. Dash is not cracked. All lights and gauges work. It had a set of stock white spoke wheels on it when I got it. I replaced them with the same ones but chrome and better rubber. But I would replace the tires. The spare is one of the white ones as I only had a set of 4. Please ask questions before bidding. It still has TX title, with a notorized bill of sale. It was never transfered to CA because of the smog (also why it sat and has such low miles). I will assist in shipping if needed, but final arrangements are buyer responsibility. I will take to a hub in Sacramento if it saves you $$. This is a very nice pickup, priced for quick sale. On Apr-26-10 at 09:03:42 PDT, seller added the following information: I got under this yesterday and realized it is going to need a muffler. If someone uses the buy it now I will have one installed before it ships or is picked up. Otherwise It is up to the new owner.
