Vehicle Detail

1932 Studebaker St Regis Brougham. Very rare car for rod or restore. It's missing the trans, rear trunk, rocker on one side and some misc items. All the garnish mouldings are there, has original front buckets, no rear seat, needs wood work but most of what's there is good. Not much rust, driver's side lower cowl and sill are the worst. I do not know a lot about 32's so please ask questions. I have an extra pair of sidemount fenders with hardware, I will offer to exchange fenders with the buyer at the end of the auction for $250. I will have some wheels mounted by the end of the auction to roll it around, they won't be correct but it is a standard 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern. I have started the price very low and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time, so bid early and often. No Title, BOS only.On Apr-18-10 at 19:25:44 PDT, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention, I have a card from a gentleman at Studebaker Specilists in Grandview MO who says he has all the missing parts for this car including the trunk. He's familiar with the car as it came from that area.On Apr-18-10 at 19:33:36 PDT, seller added the following information: I have the correct radiator for the car in good shape, the hood appears to be NOS or is a near perfect original, louvers are excellent, 2 complete headlights and 2 extras without lenses, fender light glass is excellent, bumpers are very straight. I had a friend look at it last week and suggest putting a Model A cross member just behind the body, bobbing the rest of the frame and making a very unique hot rod. It would seem a shame to do that but once it's gone it's up to the new owner. On Apr-20-10 at 17:20:57 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer a question, the serial number tag is still on the car to help with obtaining a title. I have added a picture of it, the numbers are clear and bold. Also a gentleman left me his number for the winning bidder in case they're not restoring the car, he's very interested in some engine parts. I will pass his number on to the high bidder. Thanks, Neil
