For sale is my 1956 Chevy "Tail Dragger" Custom This truck belonged to my uncle and he gave it to me, now im giving it to you. This 1956 Chevy truck has been turned into a custom at some point in its life. The paint is decent, its a suede blue, but not show quality. The scallops are more recent and done by the amazing Scott Menges at Menges Twin Customs. The interior is white. When i inherited the truck i was told the motor had been fully rebuilt and not fired, so we broke it in and it runs like brand new, i have absolutely no reason to not believe it is a brand new motor. The motor is a 235 straight 6, fallowed by a original and rebuilt manual trans with the shifter on the tree. The truck has been custom lowered in the rear to give it more of a 'Kustom' look, but no frame cutting was done, so it could be easily swapped back to stock height with no added parts, just a couple hours of time. The bed is empty, you could put a wood kit or weld in a metal bed, up to you. The truck has a 57 chevy truck hood with the peaks on it. The truck also has new gauges that show teh oil pressure, engine temp, and amps, all work perfectly. This truck does have a seat cover, but it isnt cushioned so thats up to you, also comes with a upholstered bench seat out of a 80's suburban you could just bolt in if you want comfort. Also their is a stock spare tire mount and set up under the bed. New tires on the truck as well as new electrical wiring. Also there are 2 small rust holes on the side of the step floor as you climb in, hardly noticable, and not where you step, and not on the visible body. Its a great truck, starts right up everytime, great to drive around with a clean CA title.
