1969 Lincoln Continental Mark III VIN 9Y89A887444 Engine 460 V8/365 HP Engine # 9A24A Standard Automatic Transmission Color light Metallic Blue with Vinyl Top Factory Air Conditioning Miles shown on Odometer 95460 Title is CLEAR For sale is 1969 Lincoln Continental Mark III 2 door. This is the first year for the Mark III/first edition of this body style with long hood and short rear deck. The car has individually adjustable front seats, front and rear folding armrests, “Flow-thru” ventilation system, rear lamp monitoring system. BODY FIREWALL TAG reads: Body 65A/ Color-U/ Trim- 1KA/ Date-10P/ Dso-52/ Axle-6/ Trans-U The will run and drive but we think it probably needs a carburetor rebuild as it has trouble starting and idling. We have installed a new fuel pump and new voltage regulator. We are not selling this as a driver at this time; we recommend the car be hauled to buyer’s destination. It will NOT RUN to load onto a trailer. Emergency brake holds but brakes are not operable for driving. All the lights work, and the radio works. The power seats work. The interior is in good condition but worn in places: The seats are vinyl with cloth inserts and are in good condition overall except the vinyl is discolored at the tops outside edge and the driver seat has a small tear in the vinyl on the lower seat back., the driver seat has a split. Door panels in good condition overall however the grab handles are worn badly. The carpet is in good condition. The dash is complete. The padded dash is in excellent condition, but some product had been applied to making it have a slightly sticky feel which I haven’t been able to get off. The vinyl landau top is in good condition. The paint is in fair condition, there is a scrape down the driver door, the only rust areas we find are lower driver side door, and around rear wheel-well area (shown in photos). The trim is complete and in good condition. The car has been part of a private collection then in a museum collection on display and not driven extensively for many years. We would recommend a complete service before road driving. The car is currently licensed in Washington State but tabs are expired. The title is clear. Car is sold AS IS. We do not deliver. We cannot store the vehicle beyond two weeks of close of sale. Sellers Payment Instructions A deposit of $500 is required within 48 hours of end of auction. Payment in full must be completed before the vehicle can be picked up or shipped. If balance due is not received with 7 days of close of auction and no other arrangements have been made, then the vehicle will be re-listed and the deposit forfeited. The deposit will not be returned.
