If you are into large & beautiful antique convertibles - you have just found it. You are looking at a 65 AMC Nash Rambler 990 Convertible in red. This was the first year for the 990 convertible. This car was a special order by the owner of a Rambler dealer in Mo. He wanted it with the twin stick overdrive, 287 V-8, 93/4" rear, 3:78 gearing and no p/s, p/b or power anything! It did come with the power convertible top in black. It still has the origional Rambler spinner hub caps.The engine runs perfectly-good clutch, transmission, rear, brakes, glass,insturments, wipers etc. The padded dash has some cracking, there is very little paint bubbling at the left rear bottom quarter. the frame and the rest of the car is rust free. It was Ziebarted from new. The exhaust system is new. The tires are in excellant condition. It had a complete paint job in 1984 and was garage kept its entire life. It is not a show car, but one you can enjoy as a Sunday showoff car.
