I bought this Jeep about two years ago with the idea of restoring it. I didn't have time to do much, and now I need to sell it. It's an inline 6 cyl. motor-manual transmission-hard top and doors. Great tread on 33" tires Spring-over lift I did the following to it: Removed the diamond plate and rear fendor flares. Removed the taillights. Removed the passenger seat. (It was out of a Ford Explorer and had seen better days) New battery. When I got the Jeep, the carburetor needed to be rebuilt. I bought another used one of Ebay and it didn't work good either. (the original will start up with a little gas in it, but it hesitates; the second one just floods and won't start) Both of them are included with the sale of the Jeep. It also needed a U-joint on the main driveshaft when I got it. I bought one but have not installed it. It does have some rust on the body and the frame. It's 25 years old - none of the CJ's where galvenized and they all will have rust at sometime or another. Don't let anybody fool you on this! Some of the pictures I'm posting have the diamond plate and the fendor flares on the Jeep. BOTH of these were thrown away and are not included in the sale. I just bought a house and have to move soon, so I am really not wanting to take the Jeep with me! I'll do what I can to help with the pick up. Thanks and good luck. That's why it's as cheap as it is.It will not run until it has a good carb. on it, therefore it will need to loaded with a winch for pickup.I'll be happy to take more pictures and email them you would like; just let me know.
