This auction is for a 1985 Volkswagen Vanagon GL Wolfsburg Automatic. This Vanagon is a daily driver. It starts up every time and runs great. A/C is intact but needs to be charged and plugged back in to work. There is very, and I repeat, very minor surface rust, maybe three spots about the size of a quarter, other than that the body is very solid. There are a few dents as shown in the pictures. The engine runs perfect and I wouldn't be afraid to take it anywhere. The interior needs a little attention. Nothing major, seats are in good shape. Along with the sale of this Vanagon, I will throw in another 1985 Volkswagen Vanagon GL Westfalia. The engine runs great but there is an overheating problem. I purchased it because the interior is in excellent shape and has the cabinets that come in a Westfalia and I was planning on switching all of the interior over to the Wolfsburg and make it into a weekender. I have a clear title for this one, but I have never put it in my name because it is just a parts van. I am not willing to pay any fees to have the title changed over, so if you want to put the title in your name that will be at your cost. The person I purchased the Westfalia from said he had put nearly a $1000 into the engine and I was planning to put all the new parts on the Wolfsburg as needed, but it runs perfect right now and doesn't need anything.
