Vehicle Detail

I have here a 1969 V8 Camaro. I had intentions to restore this car but life kept me busy. Over all it is a very solid car. No big issues. Nothing that a little TLC and a few weekends can't fix. I have included many pictures as I am not hiding anything and want to give the full details so that you can bid in confidence. The mileage on it is 31,871. I have also taken a pic of the Trim Tag so that you can see that its true color was a dark green and that it is a V8 car. I will start with what the car has. It has a 327 Motor with a Holley carb and edellbrock valve covers and an Hei system. I just installed a new battery in it. The Tranny is a Muncie 4 speed with a hurst shifter and it is connected to a 12 bolt rear with 411 gears. It has functional Airshocks and Cragar wheels. You can see that it has laker pipes but they are not connected. It also has a cowl induction hood. The interior is Black and is in good condition. The paint is black cherry with white racing stripes. It also has Mid Life Crises pin striped on the side but I was told that it can be taken off very carefully. Now I will tell you where the TLC comes in and what the problem areas are. As you can see by the pictures there is a little rust in the trunk, a little rust on the driver side dash, some paint bubbling below the rear window and some rust pitting on some of the chrome. Nothing crazy I assure you. Because the metal is still solid, it can be cleaned and does not need replacing. Other than that, the window weather strippings are showing wear and cracking and the Passenger door is stuck closed due to the internal linkage in the door. Some fresh plugs, wires, air filter and a oil change would be nice too. As far as the interior, it just needs some detailing and armor all and its fine. A few hours and these problem areas can be corrected. As far as shipping and payment, the transaction can be completed in cash or certified Bank check only within 7 days of auction ending. This vehicle does not come with a warranty and is sold as is. Transfer of ownership paperwork and bill of sale will be provided as required by DMV. I prefer that the transaction is completed in person and that you supply your own means of transporting the vehicle to your location. Please take a look at all the photos and ask away if you have any questions. She runs and drives good. It shifts nice and the clutch has plenty on it. I recommend the carb to be overhauled as it may hesitate a bit if the throttle is punched but it runs pretty nice. I also saw one compartment in the brake cylinder was a bit low so I added a little bit of brake fluid. I don't see a leak anywhere but it does appear that the brakes have a little air in the line. I recommend to flush out the fluid and then bleed brakes. It still stops but it feels like air in a line. No biggie just a little TLC.On Apr-22-10 at 19:04:05 PDT, seller added the following information:It Runs and Drives!!!!
