Up for sale is my 88 Mustang LX, this car has the 5.0 litre HO engine, with a 5spd manual transmission, the Guy I got this car from was setting it up to drag, the car is painted with a textured type paint so it doesn't shine very well, I call it my 20ft car, from 20 feet away it looks great, the good news is the body on the car is solid and all there and with a new paint job would look great, I also have all the lower ground effect panels to make it into a GT, they would have to be mounted and painted with the car, but I will include them with the sale.The odometer does not work so I have no idea how many miles are on this car,so I'm selling it TMU (true mileage unknown). The car was never dragged, the prior owner ran out of money before he put it on the track, he did say that the car was a "certified" 12 second car, while I can not verify this fact with any documentation I can tell you that this car is very fast, too fast for me, this is not a car for a young inexperienced driver, when you step on the gas you better be hanging on. The hood, spoiler and wheels on the car are all special order. This car is all road legal and ready for cruising, it has a removable sunroof. I have extra door panels and extra rear seat for it,(in the original red color), the interior is original red and has faded but it is not all tore up and probably could be dyed back to its original color. This is a solid, fast and dependable car, I kept it garaged all last winter and would start it at least once a month, it never failed to fire up and it runs beautiful, I always burn higher octane gas in it as it seems to run smoother on it. If you like mustangs, this is a great car for you, the only reason I am getting rid of it is because it is just to fast for me....I like to cruise a little slower. Winning bidder can pick car up from me or pay extra and have it shipped, $500.00 deposit required at end of sale with balance due 72 hours after sale ends, I would also consider a trade for a Late80's, early 90's Gold Wing, or something else of comparable value, car, mini van, tractor...whatever, I'll listen...This will make someone a good, fun car, don't miss out!!!
