Would make a GREAT Herbie "Love Bug" with a simple stripe kit from right here on eBay!! I bought this car a while back because I wanted to try out a Beetle, and it has been a lot of fun, but it's time to move on (cough.. have to pay taxes.. cough..). It's overall in great shape with really no rust issues. It has some small bubbles in the paint by the back windows, and the passenger side rear fender has a hole in the back, but I was told it came off of another Beetle. It has a rebuilt motor with bigger pistons, by the previous owner, and a BugPack muffled 4-1 exhaust system. The engine runs fantastically and always cranks up. The shifter has been upgraded to a Bugpack shifter, and it has some nice Centerline wheels with Michelin tires. The Bad: - The previous owner may have cut one of the coils on the front springs, causing the tire to rub the fender on hard corners. I don't have an extra set of stock springs - do you? - The window's don't crank up and down very easily, so I just leave them up. - There is a slow brake fluid leak from somewhere under the front of the car. It drains substantially in about a week. - The paint is really nice, but the roof has a cassette-sized area where the paint is peeling. - The e-brake/speedometer don't work (I'm sure it's just broken cables). -Driver's side interior door panel got wet and shrunk. The vinyl's still good, it just needs new hardboard from Home Depot. It is an all-around really nice beetle that looks amazing from 10 feet away, but needs just a little bit of TLC to be a true show'er. I've driven it back and forth to SC more than a couple times already on the highway, and it does fine at 75MPH. The car is located in Gainesville, GA - about 30-40 minutes northeast of Atlanta. Thanks, and good luck!
