Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is an adult owned California package pearl white 1992 300zx Twin Turbo 5 speed - brown leather/suede interior. Mileage on motor/turbos - 36,000. Mileage on car is 188,770. The California package included factory tinted rear windows, and factory chrome wheels. This package was not available here on the east coast. Also, this car is equipped with the CARB legal California emissions sure to get you through a DMV station for a long time. The last time I brought the car for inspection, the inspector checked to make sure his computer was working properly during the emission test. I bought this car in San Diego on April 1999 with 90k on the car. It has been kept in climate controlled indoor storage here in Mantoloking for the last 6 years and it stayed in San Diego before that. VIN etched on all the glass for security. Upgrades include- Garret T3 Turbos - not ever pushed past the factory setting of the stock T2 (I never bought an exhaust the car is fast enough). When I had replaced the engine, I replaced the turbos, just as a safety precaution. All 6 new ethanol resistant fuel injectors Eibach hand made progressive rate springs - with Stillen adjustable camber arms front/rear European spec radiator 20% larger vs. stock Centerforce dual friction clutch/Stillen aluminum flywheel JWT intake/cpu chip/boost jets - good for 14.5 flash psi of boost Stillen zinc coated cross drilled rotors and pads - front only Blitz fully automatic turbo timer Pioneer Cd player Stereo (w/remote) and Infinity speakers door/rear inserts from Courtesy Nissan in Texas - you can hear it with the top off on the highway...something the stock stereo could not do. Also included is a Stillen car cover Tires and brakes are in good shape. Hicas functions perfectly, adjustable suspension replaced with factory struts with springs. It starts right up on the first spin, no smoke in exhaust or engine bay, there is no smell of fuel leaks. The T-tops do not leak, the air conditioner is still an R-12 system that doesn't leak and blows super cold. Clutch is slipping, but I believe the clutch itself is the problem. I believe something is wrong with the hydraulic mechanism that moves the clutch. Beautiful car, never in an accident. When I got the car there was a clean carfax, and I am sure that hasn't changed. Oil changed every 3k. The car is able to be driven, and shifts fine. Please make me an offer if you are interested in the car. I am buying a house, and I need the cash. Auction has no reserve. Here is your chance to get this car cheap. I must sell it. Thanks. On Apr-12-10 at 16:32:05 PDT, seller added the following information: People have been asking about the Titanium key. I do have it, and it is included with the car. It is on a chrome key chain ~Z.~ I have the titanium key and the valet (red) key which can't open the glove box. Also the car is hard wired for a Valentine One radar detector. The radar detector will not come with the car as I will not part with that EVER. I will just buy another hard wire kit for the unit for my daily driver. I will leave the hard wire connection in the Z, and hope the winner buys a Valentine One..in NJ you need one BAD. It works with the ignition, and when the car automatically shuts down (ie. when the automatic turbo timer determines the oil temp is cool enough to shut the engine and not damage the turbos) the power to the Valentine also shuts down. I also have some stock parts I will include with the auction, such as an extra (slightly bent) front wheel (which can be fixed), the original flywheel, stock front pads...I mention this because people are asking me for paperwork on what parts I have changed. I did find the engine swap bill (labor only), and some stillen receipts. I never kept the paperwork because I had no intention of selling this car....again - HOUSE otherwise I wouldn't sell it...and almost didn't. It is the right thing for me to do at this time.
