Please read entire description before bidding. Serious bidders only, Thanks. 2006 Silver Ford Explorer XLT 6 cylinder, AWD178,000 Miles. Has 3rd row seats. This truck runs but I think transmission may be going. I don't know much on fixing cars. I brought to a mechanic a few months back and he said there was nothing wrong but it has gradually gotten worse. I had been commuting long miles and recently purchased a smaller car.On this Explorer..About the Good...Starts well. Actually purchased a new battery maybe 18 months ago. Of the 4 tires-the back 2 are in very good shape, maybe 6 months old..the 2 front tires are maybe 2+ yrs old (front driver side tire has a slow leak. I need to air up some every week or 2)Brakes are maybe 1 1/2 yrs old. New radiator probably 2-2/12 yrs ago. Has 3rd row seats andI believe hitching option on back of car (I never towed anything)Car has never been in any major accidents. My wife had bumped into a car backing up a few years back, probably around 2009 or so. Somebody scratched our right side backing up maybe 2 yrs ago (This can be viewed in the online pics)On the bad, there is something going on...I think it's the transmission. I'm not a mechanic but please bid on this car as if it's definitely the Transmission. I just don't want to hear from anyone complaining that I didn't mention it.
