2005 Ford Excursion 4x4 Diesel-100% Restored over 127K invested Absolutely NO ZERO Rust anywhere on this truck! There is way too much to list here but will give a brief synopsis of the scope of work I have done. Black with Tan Leather interior. Non-Smoker, Rear Bucket Seats and 3rd row, Rear DVD. It started its life as a 1 Owner 2004 Limited 6.0 Diesel Excursion w/ 228K miles from South Carolina, I converted the front to Raptor Style front end which were made briefly but were stopped by Ford and can no longer be bought. This Excursion has Never been wrecked and has a Clean Carfax report. I say that because almost every Excursion that has any front end conversion has a Salvage or rebuilt title. This truck is a clean title and clean Carfax . I have owned it for about 2 years and have made the upgrades during that time. It also has new 6.4 style Mirrors and other subtle cosmetic upgrades to make it look like a New Excursion would. Here is a list of some upgrades and restorations performed:1- 6.0 Engine completely re-built, .020 New Mahle Pistons, ARP Rod and Main Bolts studs Kit-$96002- Brand New Upgraded casting O-Ring Cylinder Heads that are Ported and Polished installed w/ Mahle Gaskets and ARP Head Studs- $38003- All new OEM Hoses, Belts, Alternator, Starter, Power Steering pump, AC Compressor, Allied Performance water pump - Approx. $35004- Brand New Stage 2 Turbo - good for towing or street applications- $23505- Mishimoto Radiator- $9006- Brand new Warren Diesel Injectors- $3860 w/ Labor7- Bullet Proof Diesel 58V FICM- $16008- Air Dog 4g Fuel Pump with Sinister Regulated Fuel Return System- $26489 -Sinister Coolant Filtration system and De-Gas Bottle, Intercooler Charge Pipes, Cold Air Intake- $236010- Performance built Transmission with Billet Converter and Redline Clutches good for 800hp- $530011- Dyno Tuned at PHP by Bill(godfather of powerstrokes)- made 585hp/1280tq. at wheels on street tune at only 25 psi.- $180012- 22" Wheels on 34" Tires- $420013- New Powerstop Cross Drilled Rotors and Towing w/ Stainless Steel brake lines, Flushed Brake System used Performance Fluid- $1590 14- Pioneer Navigation system w/ steering wheel controls and 6 Rockford Fosgate Power series speakers- Over $2000 cost15- Red Head Performance Steering gear box and custom alignment, New Performance Shocks- $126016- Sinister Custom stainless Headers w/ Heat Wrap and Sinister Custom Stainless Wrapped Up-Pipes- over $3800 cost17- (2)Brand New AGM Batteries Installed- $550 18-Raptor Style Front Conversion, Includes new OEM header panel, New Headlights, Labor- $4200 19- Approx. 400 Labor hours to design, test and tune this Excursion, Several sets of Injectors were tested, 3 different turbo systems, several Transmissions and Torque Converters tested for driveability. When the cab was lifted, I drained the fuel tank it was cleaned and we installed a new oem fuel pick up screen( they are always deteriorated and missing) so not to contaminate the completely new Regulated Return Fuel system. Fuel Pressure set to 65 psi as instructed by Warren Diesel. - Cost ? Hard to put value on this time spent but know that every nut and bolt has been turned and if it wasn't new it was replaced or upgraded. - $5000 or more, I have labot tickets for much more but hard to quantify... 20-Also installed is a 4" Turbo Back Exhaust system with 5" Stainless Steel tip. - $1000 21- G2 Premium All Metal Locking Hub Set- $260.00 22- G2 High Capacity Rear Differential Cover with Synthetic Oil- Holds twice the fluid keeping it cooler- $400.00 23- Rancho RS9000 Adjustable Shocks Installed- $650.00 24- Installed New OEM Ford Overhead Console Computer display Hard to get always back ordered and they fail on every Excursion we have built) $477.00 25- Paint correction completed about 10 months ago, Paint looks amazing especially considering the age of the vehicle. $1200 Bulletproofing an engine is a phrase coined from the company Bullet Proof Diesel out of California that started selling Oil cooler kits, EGR deletes, FICM modules and other items that would fix the failure points on the 6.0 Engines. I have addressed all of those potential issues when building this Engine. I actually have a Bullet Proof Diesel 58V FICM and Oil Cooler. I used OEM Oil Cooler from Bullet Proof Diesel, Sinister Delete Kit, Coolant Filtration System, New OEM HPOP ( High Pressure Oil Pump) and IPR Valve, all New Glow Plugs and OEM Harnesses ($4750), New OEM Glow Plug Module, ICP Sensor. I also replaced the Main Engine Wiring Harness and The Injector Harness both OEM ($2200) I replaced the AC Condenser, Dryer, Accumulator, Both AC Lines for both Front and Rear HVAC Systems with New OEM Ford Parts, Installed by Auto Cool the premier Automotive HVAC company in Atlanta- $4000I have pictures of the complete build from start to finish. I have only mentioned a portion of all the detailed work that has been done to this one of a kind Excursion. With the prices of 4x4 Diesel Trucks now cresting over 100K (2019 King Ranch F-250 Diesel) the Excursion market has been very hot. This is the last of the Diesel SUV's that will ever be made capable of towing. Emission regulations keep manufacturers from placing their Diesel truck engines in passenger vehicles. I currently get 22-26 MPG depending on driving style and tune. ALL of this restoration was completed about 10 months ago and 8K miles ago, most of the parts are still under warranty. I have it listed as an 8000 mile truck, the odometer reads 235K and the title is Exempt. I owned a company and we built, modified and restored Diesel Excursions. This is my personal vehicle that was built to showcase our abilities and give our customers an idea of products they could buy.
