I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500 4X4 Duramax. I purchased this vehicle about a year ago off of eBay. I have not really driven it that much. It has been repainted. This was done by the previous owner. The interior is in near perfect condition. The rear seats don't even look like they have been used. Overall the truck is in great condition for the year. The motor runs good, tranny shifts clean and smooth, 4X4 engages as it should. Here is list of things that I noticed about the truck when I got it. The middle console handle is broken. You can still open it, just is missing the plastic handle. The Heat/AC blower only works on 2 of the 4 settings. This is usually just the switch and is a fairly simple fix. The passenger side front window regulator is slow to go back up. When I washed it for the first time I noticed some rust on the drivers side rear rocker panel. When I started to clean out the dirt and debris that was up in the rocker panel I noticed that it had rusted through. There are two holes where it had rusted through. This does happen on vehicles that are from areas where you get snow and they use salt on the roads. Which makes sense since I got it from Utah. Here are some things that I have done to the truck since I bought it: New Brakes all the way around, New Calipers all the way around, New Shocks, bushings etc all the way around, New BFGs(less than 100 miles), New Wheels and a few other things. I do have receipts for all of the stuff that I have done. I also have the set of wheels and tires that came with the truck(these are in the first couple of pictures). I will throw these in the bed so you can have them as well. I added some floor mats. I also had the dash lights re done because they kept going in and out. This is another common problem with these chevys. This is a very good truck. This is a used truck with 187K miles on it so it is not perfect, but it is a strong running truck and is great shape for its age. Here is the story: When I purchased the vehicle from the dealership I did not receive the title for about 4 months. They said they were having issues getting the title from the previous owner. Once I did receive the title I went to go register the truck and the local DMV said that the title I had was an old title and that there was a newer one out there. So I contacted the dealer and let them know. They said that they would try and track down the owner and see if they could get the correct title. Well several more months went by and still no title. So long story short I had to go through the state surety process to get the truck titled. This took another several months. This is why it is coming up as exempt or not actual miles. But it is a clean and clear NM title. *** So it seems someone needed the original wheels and tires more than me. They were stolen last night. But the truck has brand new wheels and tires...so no harm no foul I guess.
