Vehicle Detail

1954 NSU Konsul 501 OS-T - here is your opportunity to buy a very rare and hard to come by German NSU Konsul 501 OS-T. The previous owner told me that the numbers are matching and bike was running when he stored it and put on display. I have not verified this. Mileage is unknown if correct. Looks like most everything is original and complete. Front Dunlop (England), rear Continental (Germany) tires, original rims and spokes, levers, switches, etc. See pictures for details, originality and condition. This bike has been stored for the last 40+years and will need a going over and recommissioning. Has compression, shifts through gears. Bike comes with ownership/title in my name. These bikes are quite rare in N.America as most stayed in Europe. There were only 6000 Konsul 501 OS-T units made between 1951 and 1954 - probably less than half are still in existence. Seller has right to end auction early as motorcycle is for sale locally also. contact britcycleguy@yahoo.ca or call 9058365633 Ask questions, request more photos before you bid. Please note that this motorcycle is being sold as is where is with no warranty implied. No returns $300.00 non refundable deposit due at end of auction, balance to be wired from your bank to mine within 5 business days from end of auction. Ownership papers and bike will not be released until I receive the funds in my bank - no exceptions. The buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and associated costs. I can hold motorcycle for up to 30 days while buyer arranges transportation. I can recommend a few shippers that you can get a quote from for those that are serious buyers American buyers are welcome to come pick up the bike themselves. Previous buyers have told me that upon return to USA you must stop at the US Border to fill out a few forms, pay any duties then you are on your way. You can also prefill the forms and submit 72 hrs before bringing bike back across the border. Check with US Border Security to get the forms. Either way the process is quite simple. The bike is located about 2.5 hrs north of Niagara Falls NY border, 4 hrs from Windsor/Sarnia border. 0.5 hrs from Toronto.
