Vehicle Detail
08 Galaxy Grey Civic EX Coupe. 5 speed manual. This car has been my daily driver for the last couple years. Very good condition. Starts, shifts and drives like new. Lots of freeway miles. This car was never used for Lyft or Uber or Turo. The underside of the engine is bone dry - meaning there have never been leaks of any kind. The hood, bumper and fenders are all Honda OEM, so no major accidents. Very solid car, mechanically. I'm averaging about 33 mpg. On road trips I often get 40+ The car has been repainted. She looks better than 90% of the other civics of similar years. No fade of any kind on any panels, which is rare. Very nice reflection on all panels, there was definitely some color sanding and polishing involved with this paint job. However, it is not perfect. In direct sunlight you can see a few flaws. There is a small drip at the bottom of passenger door, I believe that to have been painted separately. But as you can see in the pictures, it does all match pretty well. This car miraculously has no door dings, or major dents. Just a couple small scuffs on the front and rear bumper. Just want to be honest about all the flaws. The air conditioning has also given me some issues recently. At times it will just not blow cold. Other times, it still blows ice cold. I'm not sure of the cause. The front brakes are toward the end of their lives, but could still get another 10k or more out of them if you don't mind a little vibration at high speed - the pads still have life. Other than that the car is 100% functional. Everything from the power windows, locks, sunroof, to the lights, blinkers, cruise control and horn. There are a few tasteful modifications. For instance, I wired in an OEM horn from an Accord, to get rid of that annoying "meep" sound all civics have. I replaced the dated CD player with a modern bluetooth touchscreen. The suspension is all new in the last year - Koni orange struts, and Skunk 2 springs, both quality parts with lifetime warranties. Only dropped it about an inch below the sagging stock suspension. It's quite subtle. Can still hit speed bumps and driveways head on if you go slowly. But the stiffer suspension handles wonderfully. Very fun car to drive on twisty roads! Always puts a smile on my face. But still rather composed on the highway. Not bouncy at all like coilovers would be. Only performance mod is an Injen Cold Air Intake. It's not an ebay intake. It has a CARB sticker and has passed strict CA smog twice for me with no problems. What else? Tires are good. At least 60% left. I get them rotated and balanced. I change the fluids myself. Synthetic oil always. I swapped out the gear oil with Redline MTF. The brake fluid and clutch fluid have also been flushed and refilled. Previous owner did the clutch. No slipping at all. The title is clear. I have the pink slip, and it is in my own name. No shipping. Buyer responsible for pickup.
