I am selling my 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback AWD. This has been my primary vehicle for the past 9 years and has always been dependable and in good working condition.Recently I replaced a cracked radiator and put in new windshield wiper motors, front and back. Unfortunately, after putting in the new radiator and motors, my mechanic discovered what he thought to be a blown head gasket. I considered having it repaired as I love this car, but I had been contemplating purchasing a newer model and decided to sell instead.Pros:Low mileage: This is most likely due to a second engine. I purchased this vehicle from a dealer in 2009 and the odometer read 6000 miles. The actual mileage is unknown to me but may be found in the car fax report.Interior: Interior in good condition. Always had car seat covers. Minimal wear and tear, some carpet staining. (Some dog fur, but we did not want to drive the car for vacuuming/detailing as we did not want to risk any radiator damage)Maintenance: I have regularly maintained this vehicle and have records to document. I also have the car manual.New Parts: Brand new radiator that has only been driven 1 mile on. Also, brand new windshield wiper motors for the front and back.It's a Subaru!!: Subarus can last forever and this Subie has so much more life in her. I sold my previous Subaru in good running condition and it had over 400,000 miles on it.Cons:Probable blown head gasket: This car would be great for anyone mechanically inclined or for anyone that wants to have it repaired and gain a good working vehicle.Speedometer: Speedometer works intermittently. I have been unable to repair this as every time I take it to the mechanic, the speedometer decides to work so they are unable to diagnose.Tires: 3 of the 4 tires appear in fair condition. Rear passenger tire should probably be replaced.Water Leak: Small leak above windshield on driver side. Should be an easy fix.
