Vehicle Detail
1971 Ford Mustang Mexico Built!!!!! Up for sale is a very unique mustang! This car your viewing is a 1971 Ford Mustang Convertible built in the Ford Mexico plant. This auction is being listed with NO Reserve!!! I would love to see this car go to someone who can restore it and have a unique piece of Ford history! Overall this car is in fair shape, the body of this car is in need of some help for sure. It has rust in some of the usual mustang areas such as floor pans, trunk pan etc. good part is the frame is in good shape! I believe the car to be original wimbledon white with black stripe along bottom, with black top and Ford hubcaps like seen! Convertible top frame is in good shape. The drivetrain is a really neat part of the car, as I’ve done research on the car I believe it to be a 351 4-barrel car backed with a 4-speed Manuel trans with hurst shifter and a 9 inch rearend. Engine is non running at the moment. It is the original Echo in Mexico drivetrain! Pretty neat! Overall this mustang is pretty unique and I think it could make a great piece to a collection. Needs a fair amount of work but I feel it’s worth restoring! Please message me with any questions! Glad to help! Happy bidding, thanks for viewing!! Unfortunately been modified, but I still think it’s worth saving
