On offer is my 1987 Peugeot 505 STX sedan. I am the second owner of this car since new, having purchased the car in 2002 from Dubarr Automotive in Huntington Beach. They have done all the work on this car, even previous to my purchase. The car has been my daily driver since 2010 (lost my company car); when I bought the car it had 144,000 on the clock - I've added 112,000 miles in my 16 years of ownership. This car is the STX version - the 2.8 litre PRV V-6 engine, equipped with A/C, electric windows and sunroof. The engine is mated with the ZF4 automatic transmission. The A/C works perfectly (serviced this summer) and blows cold. All windows work but the sunroof does not. Overall, the car is in good to very good condition. There are a few blemishes and chips on the paintwork as you would expect on a 30 year old car, but the paint is holding up pretty well (clear coat is diminished on upper surfaces). There is some rust along the lower right side of the windscreen ( an inch or so); otherwise the car is rust free. This car is fitted with the European headlight kit. The interior is in very good condition. Dashboard is excellent (no cracks at all), front seats and headrests were reupholstered a while back. Carpet is all original and in good shape, with custom Peugeot floor mats. Door cards are all very good. Headliner shows minimal wear and is free from any tears. The stereo is an aftermarket Kenwood unit (CD player, remote control, AUX, USB, Bluetooth and Pandora capable) mated to an ADS power amplifier driving a pair of Memphis Audio Lab shelf-mount speakers in the back and smaller Infinity speakers in the front. This car was originally equipped with the ATE anti-lock brake system. About 7-8 years ago, the unit was failing and I made the decision to revert the brake system to the standard Peugeot 505 power assisted system. It has worked flawlessly since, and we were able to secure a new factory pair of front rotors for the car. (Very difficult to source today and they have not been turned since installation). Rear shocks were replaced in early 2016, sourced from France (Record). I have the original owners manual, receipts since I purchased the car and a number of original sales brochures. A few spare parts are included as well as two sets of keys.
