1972 GMC 2500 no rust solid truck. Rockers and floors in excellent condition. There's one tiny pin hole on the right cab corner but the other cab corner is solid. I've owned many of these trucks over the years and this one is the most solid of them all. The interior is in good shape. The bench seat looks great, the original AM radio is still there in an uncut dash. The doors on this 72 are amazing. There are no holes cut for speakers. They're both solid and original. The green dash pad needs replacing but that's an easy inexpensive fix. The steel bed is in decent condition and not all banged up but there are a few holes drilled in the bed floor. The truck has its original V8-350 with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. The engine runs but is tired. The transmission shifts but should be rebuilt or replaced. It winds out between 2nd and third gear but eventually shifts. I have driven the truck at sustained speeds on the highway but I wouldn't recommend a long road trip. This truck is a project that still runs and drives but I wouldn't call it a daily driver. I have lots of spare parts pictured including a beautiful re-chromed stock grille and a tailgate in excellent original condition. Six hub caps, NOS door panels and an extra set of tinted door and back window glass. I also have a pair of turned rear brake drums and a few other goodies not pictured that I'll throw in.
