GREAT CLASSIC OLD RIDE..... Up for sale is my daily rider....It's been a great ride but I have started working on a R90S and can't keep them all. I bought this from the son of the long time owner (big in the BMW riders club). The paint is original and the fairing is my favorite thing...the colors and stripes SCREAM 1970's. They did a great job getting it to match the original paint. I took it on a 400 mile ride this summer on the Blue Ridge Parkway. My buddies rode Harleys and I rode this one.....everywhere we went it was the topic of conversation. Definitely a head turner. Since then it hasn't been used at all so time to let it go. Swapped out the seat (the ugly but comfortable one in the last picture) with a traditional stock seat...it is not perfect but it looks the part. Gators are showing their age but they are 40 plus years old so ready to be replaced. Rush rod seals are same...weep just a bit. Again 40 years old. I travel to Cincinnati frequently and if you want to save the miles I am more than willing to bring it along on my next trip. I only request payment before I travel and you are willing to meet me at the plant while I am in town. I request a $300 deposit immediately at the end of the auction...not 24 hours later....so I know you are a serious buyer....Balance on pick up or as discussed above.
