1976 Honda MR 175 Elsinore Vintage Dirt Bike Frame # 2007052Engine #2007109 BILL OF SALE ONLY!! NO TITLE!! Not street legal in most states AS-IS!! NO RESERVE!! High Bidder Wins. ONLY BID if you intent to purchase I'm not selling because I need the money. I enjoy finding rare items, enjoying them for a while, and then offering them back to the market. I bought this bike late spring 2018 and have had it on display at my office indoors since. My goal if to offer a neat bike with a transparent ad. I want the buyer to know any and all defects or issues that I know. I will not end the auction early at any price. I intent to let the market dictate the price. Complete Rare Elsinore Including Original Tool Kit Decent Rider Quality. NOT a show piece. Kind of cranky to start. Sometimes takes between 5-10 kicks. Likes to have choke on and rode for 2-3 minutes before it will idle without choke. Exhaust manifold needs new gasket I would do a mechanical refresh to make a great driver quality On a scale from 1-10 I would rate this a 6 Front fender has some spider webbing and appears to have been repainted before. It shows paint/over spray on bushings that hold the fender to frame. It not something that bothers me and shows the patina of a bike that is 42 years young 21 inch front wheel that appears to have been touched up in a few areas, shows age, with a NEW Michelin Tire that holds air without issue Front Forks look to have been resprayed in correct silver. The bushings look good and may have been replaced at some point. Chrome on forks look excellent with no pitting Headlight looks good. Original Decal is peeling on bezel. Light brackets have corrosion Speedo has crack on plastic. Not sure if it is accurate or works. It is hooked up although the light to it needs to be plugged in Handle Bars are in great shape. Chrome is clean without pitting and has scuff on left side that I would consider normal wear and tear. Controls, Grips, and Kill switch in great shape and in good working order Tank has Great paint. Not sure if it has been repainted before?? No rust. Looks clean on inside(see pics) No corrosion underneath. Right decal is delaminated in on top corner Front Skid Plate looks good Carb and petcock look good and I believe are the original Lower frame under foot pegs looks like it has been repaired on both side via weld. Not a great job, but also not easy to spot Rear shocks are in good shape, but look to have been repainted in correct silver and show minor over spray NEW Rear 18 Inch Michelin.
