I saw it in my friend Ed's eclectic collection of mopeds and ultralight aircraft. Bought the Solex about 5 years ago from the family. Eric had over 50 mopeds that he kept in meticulous condition in Seeley Lake, Montana. I rode it around my yard and was going to put it in my house as decoration but then a Henderson came along and bumped the Solex into one of my garages. It's all original and the engine turns over. I hope it goes to a nice French Bakery to deliver baguettes. NOTE FROM YORCHIE: Selling for the owner. He is my Vintage motorcycle guru and his garage is the United Nations of motorcycles. 1946-1988 production. There are no serial numbers. Pulled the moped from indoor storage. The owner wants to sell the Solex "AS-IS" and we did not even air the tires. He figures the next owner will clean and get the moped dialed in. If he did the work - He would not sell - and it would take him away from his current restoration projects I shot lots of photos and took three videos of the Solex.
