Up for sale is a 1997 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series. I collect these vehicles, and purchased this one several years ago from a dealer in Texas. I've never registered it, and its been in storage ever since I purchased it. It is in excellent condition with clean CarFax and Auto Check Reports showing no accidents have ever been reported, and there was only 1 registered owner.Due to past experiences with bidders who have no transactions or feedback, you must have a feedback score of 95% or higher, and 10 total transactions or more in order to bid in this auction, otherwise your bid will be disqualified and the sale will go to the next highest bidder. I apologize for any inconveniences this may cause to any and all legitimate bidders. This vehicle is in exceptional condition for its age, and the undercarriage is in excellent condition with no rust. The only known issues that I'm aware of is the radio does not work, and the rear trunk lid does not have the automatic pull-down mechanism that they all come with; it is just a regular manual-locking latch. There are just a few minor dings & light scratches on several exterior panels, and a stone chip in the windshield approx. 1/2 - 3/4 inch in size that do not show in the photos. The rear air-ride suspension has been replaced with coil springs to avoid the common issues that come with the air-ride suspension, so the "Air Suspension" light stays on in the dashboard. To the best of my knowledge the engine & transmission run excellent. Because I've only driven this vehicle on private property from time to time I cannot offer any guarantees with this sale, so please bid accordingly. I will not accept less than the starting bid, as it's worth substantially more than that. Using a standard valuation guide to try and determine this vehicle's true market value would not be accurate. A non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hrs via PayPal after the auction's ended, and the remaining balance due via PayPal, or certified bank check.
