This 1982 Mercury Grand Marquis was reportedly a one owner car, which I bought by auction. I have used it as a winter car for 2 years, and sparingly in the summer. The air conditioning works really well, it is the coldest I have ever owned. Interior is good and comfortable. The body is good, no rust outs, and the paint cleans up presentably. Superior Rustproofing undercoated the car when new.Mechanics are good, no issues with starting, driving, or stopping. No leaks and doesn't use oil. Dual exhaust in good order. It has a Holley 4bbl. carb, and chrome valve covers and air cleaner. Given the 36 year age of the car, it is pretty good overall, and is licensed, insured, and still in use. Does not need an etest, do not know what it would take to safety. It is on whitewall summer tires, including the spare. The indicated mileage is 20770 km, which is probably 120770.
